Scenarios:
You are running an activity on Enrolmy for which you have enabled the waitlist function
You have bookings on a waitlist
Overview
In Enrolmy, you have the option to utilise the waiting list feature. This waitlist feature is a way for customers to express interest in your activity that is not immediately available as you have reached your capacity.
There are different parameters that you can set your waitlist to work depending on what you are trying to achieve:
Place all bookings onto a waitlist
You can choose to place all new bookings onto a waitlist if you wish to. This is beneficial if you are wanting to capture a customer’s interest as well as prioritising more long term bookings.
With this setting, session caps are ignored and a waiting list is turned on for all sessions.
Customers can move themselves off waiting list
This setting gives customers the ability to move their children off the waiting list if spaces become available.
If space becomes available, either because the session cap has increased or a booking has been cancelled (by a customer or a staff member) - an email will be sent to all customers on the waiting list that are booked into those sessions.
The email encourages customers to log in to Enrolmy to view the available sessions and update their booking.
Exclusive period for waitlisted customers to move off wait list
In addition to the ability for customers to move themselves off a waiting list, customers can be given time to change their booking without risk of losing their place to someone else when new spaces are made available by the provider.
